The Parish Council is now able to report back on the ATC Traffic Analysis Report carried out in Great Hinton 15th to 21st April 2024.

Based on previous information given to the Parish Council, the results indicate that we are within the category to be considered for a reduction in speed limit from 30mph to 20mph. At our meeting on Thursday 18th July it was agreed to submit an application for a 20mph assessment to the Melksham LHFIG in time for their next meeting on 15th August.

The Parish Council would like to thank all villagers who have expressed support for us in our long running cause to make the village roads as safe as possible.
