KC Cup 2019 - Four Seasons Photographic Competition

In November the KC Cup was presented to Kirste for her set of four seasons photos which featured her dog as a central theme. Chloe Scott was a very close second. The entries were judged by Colin Waldeck from Seend who worked as a cameraman for the BBC for many years. He was impressed by the standard of all the entries and had a hard time deciding between the two winners.

Christmas Charity Donations

Thank you to all who donated. The total raised from the Carol Concert, Christmas Card donations and the raffles at our 2 Christmas meals at the Lamb is £345.03I will be sending a cheque in the New Year for £260 to The Friends of Trowbridge Museum and one of £86 will go to the village hall trust towards the upkeep of the hall.

Celebrating 50 years of Great Hinton Ladies Club

On October 5th, 20 current members and 9 past members of Great Hinton Ladies Club celebrated their Golden Anniversary with a lunch in the hall. 4 founder members were present - Audrey Plummer, Diane Norris, Val Austin and Jill Wickham. Jill came all the way from Cornwall just for the day, Eloise came form Derbyshire and Helen from the Isle of Wight.

As usual our members provided a splendid spread for all to enjoy.
